Pastor Ronald Kalifungwa is the full-time pastor and part of the eldership at Lusaka Baptist Church. Ronald was brought up a Roman Catholic and believed for a long time that he was a Christian, until in 1981 he was convicted of his sinful state under the preaching of God’s word at Lusaka Baptist Church, and was born again.

While studying mechanical engineering in Ndola in the early eighties, Ronald felt the call to the ministry. Upon completion of his education and working for a time at a secular job, but he felt increasingly burdened to enter full-time ministry.

He began his life of ministry at Fairview Baptist Church in Mufulira, from where he moved to Lynwood in South Africa. Ronald has been in full-time ministry for over 20 years.

Ronald is married to Sarah and together they have three boys: Mumba, Kunda, and Chisomo.

Lusaka Baptist Church is led by a team of six dedicated elders. Pastor Ronald Kalifungwa is currently the full-time teaching elder and pastor of the church.
